The iOS and Android versions of Facebook app are quite similar and same goes for other operating system. So even if you have more than one device with different platforms, you won’t find it hard to use Facebook app on different devices because of the same features and design. The first Android version of Facebook was a disaster as the app was not responsive enough and it the design was off too. But the latest version of app is very fast and loads everything instantly.

All versions of Facebook app are available for free. When you start the Facebook app on your device for the first time, it asks for your ID and password. This is a onetime thing unless you logout manually. If this is your first time and you don’t have an account on Facebook then either you can create one from the Facebook website or from the app itself.
Unlike the Facebook website, the mobile app is not only easy to configure but you can also control push notification pretty easily. Using Facebook on a mobile device is an entirely different experience than using it on a desktop computer via web browser. Touch screen devices have made it fun to scroll through feed and it is even more fun on big screen devices like Nexus 7 or Galaxy Note 4.
Facebook mobile app does not show chat window in portrait mode because of the small screen but when you do rotate the screen in landscape mode, it automatically appears. Now Facebook even have launched separate mobile app for messaging. Facebook has made many design changes in the latest version of Facebook Android version; the earlier version has navigation button at the top for Check in, Status and Photo Upload but now there are five icons for different sections which are News Feed, Messages, People, Notification and More.
The latest version also makes it easier for users to share their pictures on the platform. Simply tap on the Photo icon and the app will show all of the pictures on your mobile device; it shows recent images on top that makes it easier to select the desired photo. You can select a single picture or even select multiple pictures to select at once. After selecting photos, you can add captions, tag your friends and also add description.
