Top Apps Of This Week

Here we are again with another list of some amazing newly released apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices. Following is a brief introduction of these apps and their features.

We all use charts in educational and professional life as charts make it easier to explain things to everyone. The only problem is charts need some expertise in this area as most of the desktop tools available for this purpose are difficult to use and need some time to learn things. That’s where Chartastic comes in handy; this is an iOS app that is compatible with all iOS devices including iPhone, iPod and iPad.

With Chartastic app, everyone can make charts easily and it takes only few minutes to learn everything about the app. Chartastic makes things smooth and simpler by using pre-made charts like bar, pie, graph, line and others. Because you would be using a template, chances are you would feel some limitations but Chartastic can get things done on mobile device. The best part is Chartastic is available on iTunes for free.

Microsoft developed Instagram for Windows Phone devices and the app is even optimized for tablets which is pretty surprising considering the fact the app has a single version for all iOS devices. iPad users have the iPhone version of the app that looks pathetic on the bigger screens. Unfortunately Instagram for Windows devices have some limitations; for example, you can’t upload pictures but everything else runs normally so you don’t have to take pictures with a big device weirdly in the public.

Marsbot is a newly released Android app that is compatible with all Android devices including phones and tablets running Android 4.4 or above. This app is developed by the same team that is behind Foursquare so its features shouldn’t be a surprise for you. Marsbot is a small virtual assistant that is specifically developed to do one thing; recommend things based on your geographical location.

Some experts compare this app with Google Assistant but both apps are dissimilar in many ways. For example, Google Assistance is a feature inside Google Allo while Marsbot is a whole app that sends information via SMS instead of notifications. As you can anticipate, the app runs in the background all the time and uses excessive amount of battery use so you need to consider that too. Hopefully the developing team would optimize the batter usage of the app in the next version. Marsbot is available for free on Google Play Store.

Surfy Browser

Surfy Browser is a web browser that is developed around the idea of security and privacy. The app features a passcode system where you can lock the browser so other people can’t use it or see your browsing history. One of the most amazing features of Surfy Browser is its ability to resume the sessions where you left them. Even with lots of secondary features, Surfy Browser deliver high performance and can open all kind of websites even the heavy ones. It is available for free on Google Play Store.
